The registration deadline of research papers for the International research paper competition of undergraduate and postgraduate students, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Arthur Lewis, Nobel laureate in economics, has been extended to 1 April 2015.

We have the honor to invite you to take part in the International Contest of Under-graduate and Post-graduate Students’ Research Papers dedicated to the Birth Centenary of Arthur Lewis. The contest will be held from December 1, 2014 to March 20, 2015 as part of the preparatory framework for the session of the World Nobel Congress «Peacekeeping Mission of Nobel Prize Laureates and International Cooperation in the Sphere of National Security : Current Global Challenges».
Awards: diplomas of I, II, III degrees, a laptop, a netbook, a smartphone.
All the participants have to complete a piece of research and write an essay.
I. Contest papers submitted to the competition have to be written individually or collectively by creative teams (no more than 3 people). The contest papers (of 16-20 thousand characters) should be written on one of the topics offered in Appendix A and meet the requirements specified in the Requirements for Contest Papers.
II. Essays have to be written by all the participants on a common theme: «The role of the scientific achievements of Nobel Prize laureates in today's global world», 1-2 pages (up to three thousand characters including spacing).
III. Participants of the Contest can also submit additional abstracts for publication in the collection «The New Generation of Nobel Ideas», 1-2 pages (up to three thousand characters including spacing). Competitors must submit to the Organizing Committee the following documents:
- An application form (Appendix B «Application Form»);
- A contest paper, meeting the requirements (Appendix C «Requirements for Contest Papers»);
- An essay;
- A review of the applicant’s work by his/her supervisor and a recommendation from his/her department;
- A copy of the identity document of the participant (passport);
- A copy of a document which certifies student’s or graduate’s status and his/her belonging to a higher educational establishment, which he/she represents (may take the form of an endorsement letter).

The best works will be published in the digest «Bulletin of the International Nobel Economic Forum’, a special edition, registered by the Presidium of HAC of Ukraine of 14.10.2009, № 1-05/4.
